Our black cat Magic sits in sunshine before the door
cleaning up before entering.
I not being a gardener cannot tell you the name of this shrub;
all I can say is that when it's green leaves brightly redden
then winter is on is on it's way
In a southern corner of our garden old roses still bloom
partnered with the luscious red Fuchsia
Hi Mel, the first time my husband took me to Ireland, I was struck by all the Fuscia bushes and Montbretia growing wild along the lanes, the glorious clash of pink and orange was so colourful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having similar weather to us, with bright sunshine, if a bit chilly.
Hello Kath ! I'm not sure as to whether we are having similar weather to the UK or not (?) This week we have had one day of sunshine in between several days of grey gloom and chilly rain, that has necessitated us having keeping the stove fired up!
DeleteThat's a very polite cat you have, wiping his feet before entering the house! The garden looks beautiful x
ReplyDeleteThank you Fran, actually Magic is an extremely clever cat. For when we had the old windows he was able to operate the catch on the transom windows and let himself out - the only trouble was his feline friends were able to enter and make themselves at home.
DeleteLovely photos, Mel. Especially your Magic cat :)
ReplyDeleteYour Magic at the door is lovely
