I may very well be a bit quiet for a while for I have just bought myself my first iPhone and I shall need time to get used to it. So am a bit like a rabbit in the headlights at the moment !
Not the first smart phone I have ever had there was a samsung that drove me crazily over the hill and is now lying asleep somewhere in middle England as I gave it to my daughter for her too do whatever
herself wanted to do.
This time I know in my heart that I shall be safe with an Apple product as am quite able with my iMac and even when occasionally I muck up there is an expert to talk me through a self made mire.
I will catch up with you all before too long!
All beyond me I'm afraid. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI shall have eventually for it is a similar screen only much smaller as the iMac John and thank you for your good wishes.
DeleteI teeter on the brink.
ReplyDeleteOh I do know Pat... am often doing that :-) however, am determined to keep the grey matter working for as long as possible !
DeleteYou won't regret it! I just got my first smart phone (an iPhone) last month and love it. Using it mostly as a camera and take it on my morning walks with me. Joined Instagram too! If you really love photography, it's a great place to be. All the best as you acclimate to the new phone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Sara, actually I prefer to keep my photos on the iMac at home or on one of my
Deletemany usb sticks.
I keep mine on my iMac also, but it is fun to share them on Instagram; kind of like instant mini-blogging, if one is so inclined.
DeleteJust a matter of personal choice !
DeleteI'm poor, so it's Android for me
ReplyDeleteI had an android but it didn't connect to mac, so that was my biggest gripe Simon.
DeleteThanks for commenting.
I had an iPhone about the first few years they existed. Haven't had one since moving to Spain (because I was trying to be frugal). I STILL miss my iPhone and am just about to throw frugal (my current Smart phone) out the window! We can share new iPhone stories.
ReplyDeleteFrugal is not always the answer is it :-)
DeleteI'm a Mac girl, but my iPhone mainly lives in the bottom of my purse, turned off, only used when we travel. I'm not a fan of phones period.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment Janet.
DeleteAm sick and tired of peeps staring in their phones all day and all night instead of looking in real peeps's eyes and carrying on a real conversation with real peeps, friend H ... me will not play dat game ever ... Happy Winter ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteYour comment Cat, is all about folk who have no personal discipline. I appreciate the technology but am not gone on constant communication.
DeleteYou brave soul, Mel. I am a Mac person too, but haven't quite got the courage to go iPhone yet. I'll be curious to know how you get on with it!
ReplyDeleteHello Val !
DeleteI can appreciate your anxiety however, there is no need to be concerned for the iPhone is an absolutely wonderful piece of equipment and so very easy to use.
