I have a great many interests. Among them is writing poetry, taking photo's, the practice of T M and following a druid like path. What I am not nor have I ever been is subservient or fanatical. In the true sense of the term I am a free thinking person.
Ill hand it to you, Melvyn, this beats the commercial trickery that surrounds Valentines Day. A beautiful poem, gleaming and appreciative. I had a class of muslims today, we spoke about this day and what it means from all kinds of angles. One of the men stood up and said in halting and shaking swedish; I think one day is not enough. We would need all days to show love. But a poem like this I would save for special occasions, right Mel?
I used to try and write poetry love letters. How dismal were may attempts! I'm not an envious man....usually. After reading that I wish I had that ability.
Ah Graham thats very nice of you to say so. I suppose it is gift that nags away in the back ground until the hand lifts the pen, the mind opens to hear the silent words and the hand with the pen writes. Or something like that...
Such beautiful words and (of course) perfect for the day. :)
