When these purple crocuses encircle this small standing stone in my garden. Them I know for absolute certainty that the earth is warming and that Spring in all it's glory will soon be blooming forth.
The next sign will be when the daffodils bloom to create a big yellow splash of fire, bright enough to burn the eyes.
Daffodils are my favourite flower, the pretty yellow frilly edges dancing in the breeze against green grass! A sign that spring is here! Yellow is such a happy colour, the simple daffodil is happiness on a long green stem!
ReplyDeleteThe crocuses are beautiful and a lovely sign of things to come. The daffs are all in full bloom here and a very welcome sight they are :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI have tete a tete daffodils just bursting into flower here in North Yorkshire - joy of joys.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sight. My poor flowers, it warms up here, then turns cold again, they start to bloom and then stop. Right now I have one Crocus.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful. Spring....I'm holding the thought.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, yes... Now, there we go... maybe our climate will take note that things are coming to life over your way and get the hint that it is time to melt all this snow over our way..
ReplyDelete"A Heron's View" has been included in the Sites To See for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point many new visitors in your direction.
