Sign of Spring

When these purple crocuses encircle this small standing stone in my garden. Them I know for absolute certainty that the earth is warming and that Spring in all it's glory will soon be blooming forth.

The next sign will be when the daffodils bloom to create a big yellow splash of fire, bright enough to burn the eyes.

  1. Daffodils are my favourite flower, the pretty yellow frilly edges dancing in the breeze against green grass! A sign that spring is here! Yellow is such a happy colour, the simple daffodil is happiness on a long green stem!

  4. What a lovely sight. My poor flowers, it warms up here, then turns cold again, they start to bloom and then stop. Right now I have one Crocus.

  6. Ahhh, yes... Now, there we go... maybe our climate will take note that things are coming to life over your way and get the hint that it is time to melt all this snow over our way..
