Pete Seeger R.I.P

This is my humble tribute to Pete Seeger, the singer - songwriter and Activist, who used his gifts for the betterment of the world's people. A man who by his songs raised awareness of what the world might be if only we all had acted with peace in our hearts & minds.

  1. Thank you for this. I realized I was not seeing him commemorated in any blog I follow, including my own. Looks like he came in from chopping wood for that photo. Great man.

    1. Thank you for your comment Joanne.
Most likely being the man that he was, he dressed to suit himself when at home and not for others.

  2. I love "Turn, Turn". It's based on Ecclesiastes: 3, 1- 8 - A Time For Everything. He was a great man.

    1. Yes he was indeed Dave and will be missed. I know-nothing at all about Ecclesiastes whatsoever for it's not my calling. So will take your word on that OK.

    1. Thank you for your comments Val. I feel that our sojourn on this planet is so short that it is almost like a part in a play - a drama where we learn a lot and perhaps we go on to bigger and better things in the next dimension.
