She is as blonde as I am and sheds her hair in clumps. It often looks like a stuffed toy has been torn apart in the yard ...
I would imagine the tufts are taken and used to line nests of some sort.
The ospreys camped out below the house prefer to swoop above the tops of the poplar trees and snap off branches with their talons in order to repair their nests. It's quite amazing to watch!Dalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05390048543612668055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3069061569253153388.post-21725211416544766312013-05-18T21:30:19.941+01:002013-05-18T21:30:19.941+01:00Their are the small and short legged creatures tha...Their are the small and short legged creatures that use hair in their nests, like mice for example :)A Heron's Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06563706152609630696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3069061569253153388.post-70278523713800501702013-05-18T21:28:08.900+01:002013-05-18T21:28:08.900+01:00That's good Carol your are one more person giv...That's good Carol your are one more person giving aid to nature's nesting creatures A Heron's Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06563706152609630696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3069061569253153388.post-11027710311330406842013-05-18T20:30:15.766+01:002013-05-18T20:30:15.766+01:00We always put our dog's haircuts (and ours), ...We always put our dog's haircuts (and ours), out in the garden too.
