H'm that is ...Thank you for your comments Fran.<br />H'm that is a very good question about our tours and research. Well now ! What we do is to look at a map first, then visit the OSi historic web site and see what there is of interest to us. Now very often along the way we see extra things for example such as the ice house and then the bridge, both of which were a surprise to us and then on our return we often do more research. I suppose that I should admit that we often change the route and use our intuition to take us about too :-)A Heron's Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06563706152609630696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3069061569253153388.post-84968010233293037052017-04-06T13:44:38.198+01:002017-04-06T13:44:38.198+01:00The Fields of Athenry is Pete's favourite, he ...The Fields of Athenry is Pete's favourite, he is a big Dubliners fan and we have seen them several times (I like them too, but prefer Christie Moore). I do love your tours of the beautiful countryside and lovely villages. Do you do your research before you go out and found these lovely places or do you use a map or a guide book? Love using the smaller roads and seeing the countryside. Fun to see the ice house ... and then the megalith.
